A proxy that automatically assigns a new IP on a schedule or per request.
A rotating proxy automatically changes the exit IP address — either on every request or on a fixed interval — drawing from a large pool of addresses. Rotation spreads traffic across many IPs so no single address triggers rate limits, CAPTCHAs, or bans, which is essential for large-scale web scraping. With Aethyn, rotation is the default behaviour for residential traffic, while sticky sessions are available when a workflow needs the same IP held for continuity.
