What is Residential Proxy?
A proxy that routes traffic through a real ISP-assigned home IP address.
A residential proxy routes your request through an IP address that an Internet Service Provider (ISP) has assigned to a real household device. Because the IP belongs to a genuine residential connection, target websites treat the traffic as an ordinary user rather than automated infrastructure. This gives residential proxies far higher trust scores than datacenter IPs, which is why they are the default choice for web scraping, ad verification, and price monitoring on protected sites. Residential proxies can be rotating (a new IP per request) or sticky (the same IP held for a session).
