What is Latency?
The round-trip time for a request to complete through the proxy.
Latency is the delay between sending a request and receiving a response, measured in milliseconds. Residential proxies add some latency versus datacenter because traffic routes through real home connections, but a well-engineered network keeps tunnel overhead low. Choosing an exit geographically close to the target and reusing connections both reduce latency for high-volume jobs.
