What is CGNAT (Carrier-Grade NAT)?
Also known as: Carrier-Grade NAT
A technique where many users share one public IP via the carrier.
Carrier-Grade NAT (CGNAT) lets an ISP or mobile carrier share a single public IP address among many subscribers, conserving scarce IPv4 space. This is why mobile and some residential IPs carry very high trust: blocking one address would affect many real users, so anti-bot systems are reluctant to ban it. CGNAT is a key reason mobile and residential proxies are harder for sites to block than datacenter IPs.
