Proxy Types
What is Mobile Proxy?
A proxy that routes through a mobile carrier (3G/4G/5G) IP address.
A mobile proxy routes traffic through an IP address assigned by a mobile network operator to a cellular device. Because carriers share a limited pool of IPs across many subscribers using CGNAT, mobile IPs carry very high trust and are difficult to block without affecting real users. Mobile proxies are valued for the hardest targets, such as social media automation and app testing, but cost more per gigabyte than residential or datacenter proxies.
