Billing
Per-byte metering, audited live in your dashboard. No webhook delays, no rounding, no surprise invoices.
Pay-as-you-go
Aethyn plans are pre-paid bandwidth. You buy 10 / 50 / 100 GB up front; the tunnel deducts bytes as your traffic flows. Plans don't expire — unused GB carries over indefinitely.
How metering works
Every request is metered the moment it closes — no async settlement, no batched roll-ups, no delayed reconciliation. The bandwidth that hits your dashboard is the same bandwidth that drives auto-renewal and cutoff, so what you see is exactly what you're charged.
Updates land in the dashboard within seconds. Plan balances, remaining GB, and the activity feed all read from the same live counter — there's no second source of truth to drift out of sync.
Balance & auto-buy
Your account holds a EUR balance separate from plan bandwidth. You can top up via card or crypto, then either purchase plans manually or enable auto-buy on subscriptions to renew from balance automatically when usage approaches the limit.
PAYG plans have no auto-recharge — pay-as-you-go is explicitly a manual purchase model.
Invoices & receipts
Every plan purchase, subscription renewal, and balance top-up produces a downloadable PDF invoice in Settings → Billing. Invoices are also synced to QuickBooks for your records.
Audit your numbers
The dashboard shows three numbers per plan: total, used, and remaining. The Usage Statistics card breaks down requests, success rate, charged bandwidth, and top countries — sourced from ClickHouse, not provider APIs, so every number is reproducible from your own logs.
