FoxyProxy proxy integration
FoxyProxy is a browser extension that manages and switches proxies with per-URL rules. Add Aethyn as a proxy and toggle it on to browse through a residential IP, or set patterns so only specific sites use the proxy.
Setup steps
- 1Install the FoxyProxy extension in Chrome or Firefox.
- 2Add a new proxy with the Aethyn host, port, and credentials.
- 3Enable the proxy (or set URL patterns).
- 4Adjust the username suffix to change targeting.
Code
Proxy entry
Type : HTTP / HTTPS (or SOCKS5)
Host : proxy.aethyn.io
Port : 2099 (SOCKS5: 1099)
Username : aethyn-XXXXX-country-us
Password : PASSWORDReplace aethyn-XXXXX and PASSWORD with your dashboard credentials. See the full targeting reference and protocol/port list.
Tips
- Use URL patterns to proxy only specific sites.
- Create multiple entries for different countries and switch quickly.
- Browser proxying suits manual checks; use code/anti-detect tools for scale.
FoxyProxy proxy FAQ
Can FoxyProxy proxy only certain sites?
Yes. Add URL patterns to a proxy entry so the extension only routes matching sites through Aethyn, leaving everything else direct.
